The smallest things hold a universe. A studio where light, form, and observation meet.
About the Studio
Jocelin Norambuena
The Artist
My work moves between jewelry and photography, guided by light, form, and quiet observation. I am interested in the small, the subtle, and the moments that often go unnoticed. Through images and objects, I seek to capture fragments of time and transform them into pieces that can be observed, worn, and kept.
Photography
The images emerge from inhabiting the moment, moving through spaces with calm, and allowing the light to reveal intimate fragments of nature. Each photograph is a unique and unrepeatable instant, defined by time, light, and the way I choose to look and capture that second in a single gesture.
In my work, I aim to capture life as it unfolds, without poses or interventions. I am drawn to observing expressions, glances, and gestures of wildlife in their own habitats: where they pause, what they notice, and how they relate to their surroundings.
In landscapes, attention rests on the small. Minimal spaces transform into complete universes, where forms, textures, and almost invisible presences coexist. Upon revisiting images, details often emerge that are not immediately apparent: small beings accompanying the landscape, sharing a silent moment, existing at their own pace.
Jewelry
Each piece of jewelry has its own character, inherited from the stone that inspires it. Its color, shape, and pattern guide the creation, as if the stone itself knows how it wishes to be worn.
Every stone carries the story of the earth: its formation, the changes it has undergone over time, and its encounter with other minerals. By wearing it, we connect with that process, and the jewelry becomes a fragment of nature that accompanies and endures.
Metals and stones coexist like silent talismans, transmitting energy and presence. They accompany, endure, and allow each moment of use to become part of the story of the person who wears them.
Material & Care
The materials used in each piece are carefully chosen for their quality and character.
Below you can find more information about Argentium silver, opals, and how to care for your jewelry.
✨ Argentium Silver
Argentium is a high-purity silver alloy chosen for its strength, brightness, and lasting quality.
It contains a higher percentage of pure silver than traditional sterling and includes germanium, which creates a natural resistance to tarnish.
This allows each piece to maintain its light and finish over time with minimal care. It is also hypoallergenic and made using recycled silver and more responsible sourcing practices.
I work with Argentium not only for its composition, but for what it represents:
✨ A material that preserves both the integrity of the process and the permanence of each piece.
✨ Jewelry Care
Argentium silver is a resilient material that requires minimal maintenance to stay bright.
To preserve your piece:
✨ Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes, and harsh chemicals
✨ Remove before swimming, showering, or visiting hot springs
✨ Store in a dry, enclosed space when not in use
If needed, its shine can be easily restored:
✨ Gently polish with a soft cloth
✨ For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly
With simple care, each piece maintains its natural light and character over time.
✨ Opal Care
Opals are natural gemstones that contain water, which gives them their unique light and color.
Because of this, they require careful handling.
To protect your opal:
✨ Avoid exposure to water, chemicals, and extreme heat
✨ Remove before washing hands, swimming, or showering
✨ Store in a dry, stable environment
If an opal loses some of its brightness, exposure to air or soft sunlight can help restore it.
However, repeated exposure to extreme conditions may affect its appearance over time.
Handled with care, each opal preserves its natural beauty and luminous quality for years.
